  2. GAPSTRIP 4.3 - Answer File Stripper for GAP Communications Software
  3. Copyright (c) 1989 GAP Development & Wicked Scherzo Productions

  5. Inputs standard GAP BBS answer files (ie ANSWERx) and outputs a much
  6. more streamlined version for better readability.  For instance, a
  7. 116k REGIS file can come down to around 9k!
  8.  
  9. Runs from the command line so this job can be done in an event or from
  10. remote via GAPCTTY.
  11.  
  12. Syntax : GAPSTRIP infile outfile
  13.  
  14.  
  15. All output is displayed flush left and lines in ANSWERx that begin with
  16. a ";" or a ":" are printed without the control character.  Everything else
  17. is stripped-out.  If you document your comments cleverly, your output will
  18. aid you in interpreting the data you received.

  20. Version 4.3 - Fixed the bug that not only parsed out the "A:", but also
  21.               the first letter of the text if it started with "A".
